A Unique Approach to Coaching: Beyond the Jargon

Describing my approach to coaching (and life in general) is always tricky as it often sounds like a barrage of wordy jargon.  Below is a light-touch explanation of the main themes that guide me, but you can trust that in the actual working together, it’s really not about the words but a ‘way of being’ in conversation together.

Presencing

Presencing is the practice of being fully engaged in the present moment, rather than caught in past memories and stories or future anxieties and plans. It involves tuning into your thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations with curiosity and openness. By cultivating this deep presence, you become more ok with ‘what really is’ and create space for new insights.  This is the foundation for change and a clearer path forward.

Neuroregulation

Your nervous system is the foundation of how you experience stress, performance, and well-being. Neuroregulation involves techniques that help shift your body from states of tension or overwhelm into balance, using breathwork, movement, and somatic awareness. When your nervous system is regulated, you access greater resilience, clarity, and ease in both life and performance.

Non-Dual Enquiry

Non-dual enquiry challenges the mind’s tendency to see life through rigid distinctions—success vs. failure, good vs. bad, self vs. other. By questioning these conditioned perspectives, you open to a more expansive and fluid way of seeing yourself and the world. This shift dissolves limitations and allows for effortless action rooted in deeper wisdom.

Cognitive Reframing

Our thoughts shape our reality, but often, they’re based on unconscious beliefs that hold us back. Cognitive reframing is the process of shifting perspectives, seeing challenges as opportunities, and rewriting limiting stories. This empowers you to move through obstacles with confidence and a fresh sense of possibility.

Embodied Awareness

True transformation isn’t just intellectual—it’s felt. Embodied awareness means fully inhabiting your body, sensing its signals, and trusting its intelligence. By integrating body and mind, you cultivate a natural flow state where performance and well-being become effortless.

* All of these concepts weave harmoniously together to support deep and lasting transformation.  It’s an approach that doesn’t just help you “do better”—it helps you be and feel better.
